Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: I wish I knew what the chances are for a marked hero to be hit with an attack more often than without the mark, for when you only have 1 riposter, but it does seem to above the 50% at random with 1 guard and riposte (so 2 heroes don't cause a riposte).Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Or anytime you have a boss with 2 or more attacks a turn and high damage. But it could be useful in certain Darkest Dungeon quests, hint, hint. I'm not saying this is great strategy, because of all the stress and damage the whole party gets in the first 2 turns. Also, I enjoyed playing a party with 2 MAAs who defend the back 2, then riposte, and repeat. I wanted to have the man at arms cast Defend as well as be forced to defend the antiquarian lol, which doesn't work as it shifts the defend to the most recent caster. The man at arms should have the "Move forward 1 ability to allow the highwayman and man at arms to trade slots allowing riposte to stack.Īlso note that the Man at arms can only defend one target at a time. Not to mention #1-#4 attacks which will trigger both ripostes. The enemy have a number of #1 and #2 attacks, which activate both ripostes. The enemy now only has one target that will not activate riposte. Activate riposte on the man at arms and the riposte on the highwayman. So you usually have priority to case the "Force Defend" on the man at arms tank.
